Blockchain Firm Bitfury Launches Artificial Intelligence Division. The company has named tech veteran, Fabrizio Del Maffeo, to head the new unit, “I look forward to leading Bitfury’s AI team and to launching products that make it easier, safer and more cost-efficient for businesses to adopt artificial intelligence at scale,” he said.
Bitfury closed an $80 million funding round last November, led by Korelya Capital. Other firms participating were Galaxy Digital, Macquarie Capital and Dentsu.
